5 Tips for Better AI Images
Creating great AI images is part skill, part prompt craft. Here are five tips that work well with Nano Banana 2.
1. Be specific about style
Instead of “a cat”, try “a watercolor painting of a ginger cat sitting on a windowsill, soft morning light”. The more concrete your description, the closer the result to your vision.
2. Use reference ratios
Match your output to the platform: square for Instagram, 16:9 for banners, 9:16 for stories. Our ratio selector makes this easy.
3. Iterate in small steps
Change one thing at a time—lighting, color, or composition—so you can see what each change does.
4. Combine with real photos
Use Image-to-Image to refine existing photos or blend AI elements with your own shots for a consistent look.
5. Save your best prompts
When you get a result you like, copy the prompt into a doc. You’ll build a personal library that speeds up future projects.
Happy creating!
